Facing the railings of the Retiro park, at number 2 Avenida de Menéndez Pelayo and almost at the junction with Calle de Alcalá, stands Tantra Palace, in the Salamanca district. The entrance to Príncipe de Vergara metro (lines 2 and 9) is only a few metres away, and Retiro station (line 2), next to the Puerta de Alcalá, is a seven- or eight-minute walk. Drivers can book a free parking space when making their appointment; without that booking, the house pays for one hour of parking. The centre says it has spent more than twelve years in the tantric massage business. Its staff is mixed and, according to the website, qualified in chiromassage and Eastern techniques. The rooms are separate and all have their own shower; some also have a jacuzzi or hydromassage. There is a reception desk run with discretion, and drinks are on the house: soft drinks, beer, cava, tea, fruit and chocolates, plus a shisha. The menu, with more than fifteen options, ranges from a sensitive massage on a futon, designed for those who prefer a passive role, to several versions of the sensual Thai, a nuru, a chocolate session, fetish or striptease sessions and massages with two practitioners at once. Women and couples are also welcome, the latter choosing between one or two masseurs, and there are sections devoted to gay massage and to sessions with trans masseurs. The whole repertoire can be taken to the client's hotel, with the return taxi paid separately. It has no closing day: hours are 10:00 to 23:30 on weekdays and 11:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
