Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data UbiRelax processes, what for and what your rights are, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

What data we process and why

• Visits to the website. We count visits and clicks on the contact buttons (call, WhatsApp, Telegram, directions, website) to find out which listings are of interest and improve the service. We don't use cookies for this or store your IP address: each visitor is identified by an anonymous fingerprint that changes every day and does not reveal who they are. It is kept for 13 months. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring and improving the website.
• Google Analytics. Only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects browsing data (pages viewed, device, approximate country). Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the "Cookies" link in the footer.
• Reviews. The name or alias you choose, the rating and the text are published after being checked. We also keep an encrypted fingerprint of your connection, not your IP, to prevent more than one review a month of the same place. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering reliable reviews.
• Reports. What you tell us and, if you choose to give it, your contact details. We use them to review the listing and, if there are signs of an offence, to report it to the authorities. Legal basis: public interest and compliance with legal obligations.
• Profiles of independent professionals. The data you publish (alias, city, area, introduction, features, opening hours, public contact details and photos) and the email you give us for verification, which is not published. Because a profile of this kind may reveal information about sex life, we only process it with your explicit consent, which you give when publishing it and can withdraw by deleting it from your private link. The verification email is used only to verify you and for communications about your profile.
• Businesses. The contact details of parlours and agencies that they themselves publish on their websites. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering a useful directory; each business can ask us to correct or remove its listing.
• Emails you send us. To reply to you. Legal basis: your consent and, where applicable, your relationship with us.

How long we keep it

Profiles and listings, for as long as they exist (if you delete your profile, its data and photos are erased). Reviews, while they are published. Visit statistics, 13 months. Reports, for as long as needed to handle them and, if there are signs of an offence, as long as the authorities require. Afterwards, data is blocked for the legal limitation periods and then erased.

Who it is shared with

We do not sell or transfer data to third parties. We work with providers that process it on our behalf with GDPR safeguards:

• OVHcloud (server hosting, in the European Union).
• Cloudflare (content delivery network and protection against attacks).
• Google (Google Analytics, only if you accept it).
• Anthropic (machine translation of the published listing texts into other languages).

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case the safeguards provided for in the GDPR apply (European Commission adequacy decisions, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or standard contractual clauses). We will only disclose data to the authorities when required by law or where there are signs of an offence.

Your rights

You can request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of or objection to its processing and its portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to [email protected]. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

Minors

The website is for adults aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly process data of minors; if we detect any, we delete it.
