Estética IRIS occupies unit A at number 60 Calle del Doctor Fleming, in the Nueva España neighbourhood of the Chamartín district. The building stands on the corner of Calle de Félix Boix, about four hundred metres from Plaza de Castilla. Although the name suggests a beauty salon, the centre describes itself as a place that brings together beauty, wellbeing and sensuality, and its massage menu is erotic in character. That menu heads its list of services. It includes a full-body erotic massage for men and women; nuru, a technique of Japanese origin performed on a tatami or a wide massage table with a warm, slippery oil; a four-hands session with two masseuses working in tandem; and a lesbian massage designed for women. In the couples massage, two masseuses work at the same time, and each couple chooses the tone, from purely relaxing to more sensual. The offer is rounded off by a private jacuzzi, to be enjoyed alone or as a couple, and a spa service. Alongside all this, it works as a conventional beauty centre: waxing, razor or laser hair removal, manicures and pedicures, body scrubs, one of them inside a Turkish bath, and diamond-tip facials. Each masseuse has her own profile on the website. It is open every day from 10:00 to 22:00. To book, it lists a mobile number, a landline, an email address and a contact form; the website is in Spanish. Plaza de Castilla station, served by metro lines 1, 9 and 10 and home to a large bus interchange, is about a five-minute walk away; Cuzco, on line 10, is just over five hundred metres off, and Chamartín station, with Cercanías commuter trains, a little over a kilometre.
